I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get some kinda flack for this, but I actually DO like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. I first heard about the series in 2011 and was wondering why so many people (especially grown men) were so obsessed with it. So, I decided to watch a couple episodes.....and I'll admit, there is a rather nice, cutesy charm to the series.
I've been drawing fanart of the characters as far back as 2011, but I had been holding back on posting any of them due to the overally-obsessed fanboys & fangirls, as well as the rabid haters of MLP:FiM. These type of people make it hard for sane fans, like me, to enjoy the show for what it is and make fanart of the characters, just for fun.
Am I a part of the MLP fanbase?

No.

Just because I'm not a part of the fanbase doesn't mean I can't admire the series from afar, and enjoy drawing the characters for fun.


Anywho, about the pic:
A simple pic of one of the Mane 6, Rarity. She's actually my least favorite of the group. Doesn't mean I hate, cause I don't....I do like her.
So why did I post a pic of my least favorite first, instead of my favorite Mane 6 Pony? I love the color and design of her mane and tail.


SUM XTRA INFO:
This was drawn back in Dec. 2012 and colored some time in 2013.

The title of the pic is inspired by a song I used to dislike when it first came out (because it played so damn much on ever Pop/R&B/Hip-Hop radio station), but now enjoy hearing it. Kudos to those who know the song I'm talking about.


ARTIST COMPLAINT:
I'm not entirely fond of the way her legs came out. They look a bit too chubby. I shouldn't be too harsh about it, though, since it was drawn damn near 5 years ago.
