That Fave Video Game Characters Meme

Since I'm off from school for 2 weeks, I'd figure I might as well post some stuff I've been working on little-by-litttle on the the days I had no homework. Starting with this piece....

I kept seeing this meme floating around on dA for the longest, and decided to go ahead and do it.
This particular one is based solely on Mario Series characters.

From left to right, top to bottom:

Tubba Blubba: The adorable, "fierce-looking", yet very timid monstrous Clubba.  This guy stole my heart (no pun intended) shortly after seeing the poor fella in tears upon his defeat. When he ran off crying...my heart melted, thinking "Aaawww, that poor guy".  I felt really bad for him and having to beat up on him, after Lady Bow (your bitch of a Boo partner) told Mario how she and her Boo minions use to tease Tubba-Blubba, because he was so scared of them; how they enjoyed watching him run away in fear.
Despite the fact that he was a loyal follower of Bowser, he was actually a really nice, but very sensitive guy, looking for redemption in all the wrong ways.

Baby Daisy: I was torn between picking her or Toadette. But since, Baby Daisy is more under-appreciated than Toadette is, I went with the baby princess instead. Ever since her debut, she has gotten nothing but hate from a large majority of the Mario series fans (so far, as to having a forum made that discussed their disgusted towards her surprise appearance as a new character.)  Possibly getting more hate than her adultself.
Her cutesy appearance and chipper personality (not to mention her adorable voice) gave her the position as my second overall favorite baby character in the Mario series.  I really enjoy playing as her in Mario Kart Wii, and was very happy when they included her in Mario Super Sluggers.

Yoshi: I had a hard time choosing who to put here since I prefer villain characters more than the hero characters (idk, hero characters seem so boring and overrated to me. ) I was gonna leave it blank, but decided to just go ahead and chose someone. My original pic was gonna be Mario, but he might've been used countless times in these "favorite hero/character memes", so I went with my second decision; Yoshi.
Although he is classified as a "hero" character (and I said I didn't really care too much for them), Yoshi is definitely one exception. He's just a cute character, that's so hard to hate. ^^ What I love most about him is his species comes in so many different colors (and I'm a sucker for brightly-colored things. )
I chose the Green Yoshi (even though Red, Light Blue, Black, and Brown are my favorite Yoshi colors) because he represents the "playable" Yoshi character, whom has been a frequent hero in many games starring him.

Macho Grubba: My new "current obession" He has robbed the top of the list as my number one favorite character in Paper Mario: The Thouand Year Door (possibly out of every single character in the PM series).  I found him to be a very interesting character with a really awesome background story, not to mention his character development was so deep for a "one-hit-wonder".  He painted that picture as being that charming, old guy who seemed very nice and caring towards everyone. But under that smile breath the soul of a corrupted villain with a serious obsession for eternal youth and power. Plus I loved the way my big bro RPed him, whenever we play PM:TTYD.
As I mentioned before, I always preferred Grubba's "macho" form over his "normal" form. I find him very cute (yes, CUTE) in that alternative form.

Baby Wario: I know some people are gonna say "Eww, you think Baby Wario is cute?!?!" "He's ugly". Me, I personally think he's very cute, which is why I put him under the "cute character" catagory. He's only made a one-time appearance in Yoshi's Island DS; only being playable in 6 out of 50 levels in the game. He is my number one favorite baby character in the entire Mario series. ^ ^ Plus, there was something about that really loud crying of his I found to be really adorable. I'm really hoping he makes his first 3D appearance in a Mario spin-off title soon.

Major Burrows: You all know he was gonna be included somewhere in this meme.
Now here's a guy that's not very well known at all (unless you played Super Mario Galaxy 1 and/or 2; and remembering seeing him). The enormously large mole, who severed as a boss character in the Gusty Garden Galaxy, has had a high level of hate directed towards him. You can watch videos about him on YouTube, scroll through the comments section, and not once (excluding ones with disabled or without comments) will you see someone not make a bashful comment about him. This might be because he was dubbed as being an "extremely hard boss" (even though he was like one of the easiest bosses in both Galaxy titles. ), and had a bizarre taste for rabbits and plumbers.
What I love about Major Burrows is his comical boss battle. Someone as large as him, fearfully ran away from someone as tiny as Mario, simply because the plumber butt-drops the ground around him; forcing the big guy from out of the ground. That 2-year-old-like temper tantrum he throws after you strike him twice always cracked me up. He's another character that I find something just so cute about him.
(I just found out that the game director, Koichi Hayashida-whatever-his-name-is, is the one who voiced Major Burrows. )

Waluigi: I know somebody is going to ask me "What is so mysterious about Waluigi?" Actually, there's a lot of things mysterious about him. For one thing, it was never explained where he came from. He just mysterious popped out of the blue as a brand new character to the Mario series in Mario Tennis (N64). Nintendo never revealed exactly why Waluigi has this hatrad towards Luigi (only dropping little hints that Waluigi has had a crush on Princess Daisy, but she chose Luigi over him). There's also been a debate over whether Waluigi is truly Wario's younger, twin brother. There has been so many sources that states that Waluigi is, indeed, Wario's brother; just a friend of his; they're cousin; or just a partner in crime. His whole character bio and background history remainds a mystery to everyone.
Anyone who has been following my artwork from late 06 to mid 07 would remember me saying Waluigi was my fave of the 4 plumbers. There was no way I'd leave out the sneaky, purple-wearing plumber.

Fire Bro: How could I ever forget about this guy. My favorite of the "bro" species. I started taking a liking into the Fire Bro ever since Mario Superstar Baseball; when they debuted as a playable character. Their character design is so friggin' adorable! (plus, their primary color is red, which so happens to be my fave color. ) I've always had this huge interest in characters who could control the elements of fire (and electricity). So, I had to squeeze the Fire Bro in somewhere on this meme.

SUM XTRA INFRO
Originally, Tubba was suppose to be where Waluigi is and Waluigi was suppose to be where Tubba is. However, there wasn't really nothing "mysterious" about Tubba-Blubba, so I ended up swapping their positions to where they are now.
